Park is a new condominium/townhome development coming soon to downtown Vancouver.
Location
Prospective buyers will find Park at 1698 West Georgia Street, between Cardero and Bidwell Streets in the heart of downtown Vancouver. This is a very walkable neighbourhood. Residents can easily walk to shops, cafes and restaurants. Grocery stores such as Whole Foods, Safeway and Urban Fare are close by. Residents can reach the Pacific Centre shopping mall on foot in 18 minutes. If they are looking for nature, residents can walk to Stanley Park in 4 minutes. In addition, the Seawall is less than two blocks away. The sky train system can be accessed via Burrard Station, an 18 minute walk. Residents can also walk to the Vancouver Art Gallery, as well as the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.
Design
The design of Park was inspired by Vancouver’s North Shore mountains. Aiming to bring the mountainside concept to life, architects have conceptualized an interlocked and stepped building form with cascading greenery on the upper terraces and balcony edge planters on lower floors. The residential entrance located at West Georgia and Bidwell will feature a 10 foot tall art installation inspired by birds in flight. Behind it, a cascading 2-storey waterfall will provide a natural backdrop. The podium at the base of the tower will house the townhomes.
Units
The development will contain 122 condominiums and 5 townhomes within a 33-storey residential tower. Units will range in size from 1-3 bedrooms. The builder has not yet confirmed the features of the units. The project is still in the pre-construction phase; full details regarding the units will be available shortly. However, the builder has indicated that interiors will feature natural colours and organic textures curated by Canadian design studio Ste Marie.
Amenities
Park will offer its residents a large outdoor terrace, a fitness and recovery studio, dining room, and chef’s kitchen. The project is still in the pre-construction phase; more complete details about amenities will be available shortly.
